prostep ivip Symposium 2026: TESSA for collaborative MBSE
We were at the prostep ivip Symposium 2026 in Frankfurt and, together with Uwe Kloss, talked about a problem many MBSE teams know from daily work: collaboration across tool, model and organizational boundaries.
MBSE rarely fails just because the models are complex. The real friction usually shows up where different teams, partners and tools work with different modeling logics. That makes alignment harder, slows things down, and raises the risk of errors in the digital thread.
We showed TESSA, our SysML assistant for model-based engineering workflows. TESSA helps find inconsistencies, explains modeling logic and prepares corrections – while the technical responsibility stays with the human. Our focus was on better alignment across model boundaries, explanatory feedback for the teams, and better model quality, without anyone giving up control.
The conversations in Frankfurt made one thing clear: if you really want to scale MBSE, you need more than better models. You need better collaboration between people, tools and systems.
