Embedded World 2026: From AI Curiosity to Implementation

We were at embedded world 2026 and noticed a clear change in the conversations. Whether AI is relevant for industry and engineering was barely a topic anymore. Much more often, it was the more practical question: how do you use AI so it actually brings value?

We find that shift interesting, because it shows the market moving from curiosity and experimentation to real implementation. For us, it led to good conversations around portal0, TESSA and practical use cases across engineering and business workflows. The biggest interest was in solutions that integrate into existing IT and engineering landscapes – from AI support for specifications and technical documents, through requirements engineering and system design, to the path from experiment to measurable value.

The response was clear: many companies are ready for the next step. AI is no longer seen as just a trend – it’s increasingly becoming part of real engineering and business processes.
