Experts’ Corner: Sherifa Fayed

Sherifa Fayed is Technical Evangelist at FIWARE Foundation, a non-profit organization that, together with its members and partners, drives the definition – and the Open-Source implementation – of key open standards that enable the development of portable and interoperable smart solutions in a faster, easier and affordable way.

The FIWARE Foundation was founded 2016 with the objective to ease the development of smart solutions across domains such as Smart Cities, Smart Energy, Smart AgriFood and Smart Industry, based on FIWARE technology.

As part of our interview series ‘Experts’ Corner’, Sherifa talks about the role of FIWARE within the AI Marketplace, their open-source components, and the added value of data marketplaces.
